Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Flash Live collects, uses, shares, stores, and protects your personal information, and the choices available to you.

Effective: September 3, 2026Operator: Fissioncell Technology Co., Limited

Flash Live is a live streaming and social entertainment service operated by Fissioncell Technology Co., Limited (“Flash Live,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We understand the importance of personal information and are committed to protecting your privacy.

We collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, and improve Flash Live. We do not sell your personal information. Some features require device permissions or information to work; where required, we will ask for your permission before collecting or using that information.

At a glance

  • You control optional permissions such as camera, microphone, and photo access.
  • Face verification is used only in limited security and anti-abuse scenarios—not for advertising, social matching, or recommendations.
  • You may access, correct, delete, or request a copy of eligible personal information.
  • You may delete your Flash Live account from the app or by contacting us.
01

How we collect and use personal information

1.1 Registration, login, and account security

When you create or access an account, we may collect your mobile number or email address, verification code, account identifier, password or authentication token, nickname, profile image, age or date of birth, gender (if provided), region, and third-party sign-in identifier. We use this information to create and manage your account, verify identity or eligibility where required, prevent unauthorized access, and provide account recovery.

If you sign in through a third-party service, that provider may share information with us according to your settings and its privacy policy. You can choose whether to use a third-party sign-in method.

1.2 Live streaming, posting, and interaction

When you publish or participate in live streams, video parties, voice rooms, comments, chats, profiles, or other community features, we process the content you choose to provide. This may include audio, video, photos, messages, captions, reactions, likes, follows, room activity, gift activity, and related timestamps.

Features that create or upload media may request access to your camera, microphone, photo library, or files. These permissions are used only when you actively use the relevant feature. You may decline or withdraw a permission in your device settings, though that feature may then be unavailable.

Beauty effects, filters, stickers, or similar effects may identify facial landmarks locally on your device to render the selected effect. This processing is not used to identify who you are. Unless we tell you otherwise at the point of use, facial landmark data used for effects is processed locally, is not uploaded to our servers, and is discarded after rendering.

1.3 Purchases, virtual items, and wallet features

When you purchase or use virtual items, we may process transaction identifiers, purchase amount, currency, order status, virtual balance, gift and consumption records, and limited payment status information. Payments are completed by app stores or third-party payment providers. We generally do not receive your complete bank card or payment account credentials.

We use transaction information to complete purchases, maintain balances, provide receipts, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and meet accounting and legal obligations.

1.4 Service operation, analytics, and security

To operate Flash Live safely and reliably, we may collect device and log information, including device model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, network type and status, mobile carrier, IP address, device or advertising identifiers where permitted, crash reports, performance data, feature usage, login records, and service logs.

For fraud prevention and service security, we may also process information about the app installation source, abnormal account or transaction activity, running-process or application integrity signals, and device risk indicators, to the extent permitted by law and platform rules. We use this information to diagnose failures, protect accounts, detect spam or abuse, enforce our terms, and improve performance and reliability.

1.5 Face verification and anti-abuse controls

In limited high-risk scenarios—such as reward programs, invitation incentives, withdrawals, suspected duplicate accounts, or abnormal activity—we may ask you to complete face or liveness verification. With your consent, we may process face images, facial feature data, liveness results, verification status and time, and related security logs.

We use this information only to prevent fraud and abuse, verify that a real person is completing a security-sensitive action, prevent repeated or automated claims, protect accounts and transactions, handle disputes, and comply with applicable law. Face verification is not required for ordinary browsing, watching streams, joining public voice rooms, or general chat.

We do not use face verification data for public display, social matching, one-to-one identification against public databases, advertising, user profiling, recommendations, or cross-app tracking. We do not sell it. Where a specialist service provider supports verification, it may process the information only to provide verification, risk-control, and security services under our instructions.

1.6 Changes in purpose

If we intend to use personal information for a purpose materially different from the purpose described when it was collected, we will provide additional notice and obtain consent where required.

1.7 When consent may not be required

Where permitted by applicable law, we may process information without consent when necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with legal obligations, respond to emergencies involving life or property, protect network and information security, handle lawful public-interest reporting, use information lawfully made public, or respond to lawful requests from courts, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities.

02

Sharing, transfer, and public disclosure

We share personal information only when necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, under appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards. We may share information with service providers that support hosting, storage, content delivery, real-time audio and video, messaging, analytics, customer support, security, payments, and identity or risk verification.

We may transfer information as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets. If control of your personal information changes, we will require the recipient to continue protecting it or provide notice as required by law.

Information you choose to post publicly—including profile details, live content, comments, and community activity—may be visible to other users. Please consider carefully what you share. We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, the public, our rights, or the security of Flash Live.

Third-party services and SDKs

How long we keep information

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Flash Live, fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations.

Account information and content such as posts, comments, likes, messages, and transaction records may be retained while your account is active. When you delete content or your account, we delete or anonymize eligible information within a reasonable period, subject to backup cycles and retention required for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, safety, or dispute-resolution purposes.

04

How we protect information

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. Depending on the sensitivity and context, these measures may include encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege permissions, logging, security reviews, staff confidentiality obligations, vulnerability management, and de-identification or anonymization.

No transmission or storage system is completely secure. Please protect your credentials, use a strong unique password, keep your device and app updated, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

If a personal data incident occurs, we will investigate and take appropriate containment and remediation steps. Where required, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities about the nature of the incident, possible impact, and steps they can take.

05

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information; withdraw consent; request data portability; or appeal a decision regarding a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may update certain profile information in Flash Live and manage camera, microphone, photo, notification, and similar permissions in your device settings. Withdrawing a permission does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal, and some features may no longer function.

Flash Live does not enable automatic app startup by default. Startup and background behavior may also be controlled by your device operating system and manufacturer settings.

To exercise a privacy right or raise a concern, email contact@fissioncell.com. We aim to respond within 30 days, unless a different period is required by law. If Flash Live ceases operation, we will stop collecting personal information and delete or anonymize it as required, with notice where applicable.

06

Protection of minors

Flash Live is not directed to children under 18. If you are under 18, use Flash Live only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian and where permitted by applicable law. Guardians should help minors understand this Policy and make appropriate privacy choices.

If we learn that we collected a minor’s personal information without valid authorization where parental consent is required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us to request review or deletion.

07

Delete your account

You can request account deletion from Me → Settings → About Us → Delete Account in the app, where available, or by emailing contact@fissioncell.com from the address associated with your account.

Before deletion, make sure pending transactions, disputes, subscriptions, withdrawals, or other account matters are resolved. We may provide a 15-day reconsideration period. If you sign back in during that period, your deletion request may be cancelled. After the period ends, the account and eligible personal information—including profile data, content, social connections, messages, virtual assets, and membership benefits—will be deleted or anonymized and cannot be recovered, except where retention is required by law or necessary for security and dispute prevention.

08

Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes in Flash Live, technology, law, or our data practices. We will post the revised Policy and update the effective date. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
